The Ministry of Education requires your legal information, such as complete legal name, address, emergency contact information, and other.
Official Photo Identification
We want to make sure you really are who you say you are. To do that, we check the info on an official ID with your photo, like a passport, driver's license, or any government ID.

Career Assessment
Prospective students answer questions regarding their interest in pursuing careers in the Digital Entertainment Industries. Particularly, the reasons they choose to work in Animation, Visual Effects, VR, and Video Game design.
Basic Computer Skills Assessment
Prospective students must have a fundamental knowledge of how to operate a computer.
Basic Internet Skills Assessment.
VANAS is a cloud school, meaning we rely heavily on the internet to deliver our programs. Prospective students need to know how to connect to the internet and perform basic tasks to be successful in our programs.
Expectations Questionnaire
Prospective students are asked to reflect on their expectations from VANAS, the industry, and, most importantly, themselves. This way, we ensure we are a good fit for them and vice versa.
English Proficiency Requirement: (Reading Comprehension and Written Skills)
The general assessment responses will be graded in the following categories:
•Task Achievement (scored from 1-9)
•Coherence and Cohesion (scored from 1-9)
•Lexical Resource (scored from 1-9)
•Grammatical Range and Accuracy (scored from 1-9)
•Each component will then be averaged for an overall English Proficiency Score.
If the submission falls below a score of 5, students will be asked to complete an English Proficiency Evaluation Test and may be asked to complete a telephone or video interview to evaluate their conversational English level.

The application fee is non-refundable
The application fee cannot be refunded. When paying with a credit card, an additional fee is applied from credit card companies.
Late application fees apply
For applications submitted after the deadline, an additional non-refundable late fee will be charged, on top of the standard application fee. This fee, applied to both Canadian and international students, covers expedited processing to ensure the student can commence their studies on schedule.

Avoid Convenience fees
To bypass credit card processor fees, students have the option of making payments through direct deposit or wire transfer to the VANAS institutional bank account. Alternatively, they can use a flat fee service for their transactions.
